Inspiration
I believe many others, alike me, find it difficult to express ourselves when it comes to standing face to face with our emotions. We end up suppressing our emotions and diverting our attention towards something else, in hopes of forgetting about our demons through and through. It reaches a point where they uncontrollably pile up and crumble down all at once, trickling down your in the form of tears. But tears don’t wash away the pain. What I came to realize was that, one way or another, you can’t lie to yourself, especially when it comes to feelings. They're intricate. Whenever I found myself on an emotional rollercoaster with nothing but lows, I’d turn to writing to relieve whatever impulse I was experiencing at that time. With the words that weaved together line by line, I found comfort and relief. On the internet where everyone is faceless, I believe many would find it a lot easier to express what they’re dealing with others who are most likely undergoing similar trials and tribulations.
